Homeroom Parent FAQs

CONLEY HOMEROOM PARENTS

What are Homeroom Parents?
They are the main link between class volunteers, teachers and the PTA.

Why volunteer for this?
See your child’s face beam with pride when you share special time with them! As a Homeroom Parent, you will experience first-hand your child’s interactions with their teacher and fellow classmates and gather special memories that will last a lifetime.

The Selection Process
Two Homeroom Parents per class are needed. Preference will be given to those who have not been Conley Homeroom Parents within the past two years and who return their forms by Friday, September 18. If you have more than one child in Conley and have a preference or no preference for which class you would like to volunteer for, please note your preferences. Every effort will be made to place you with the homeroom you specify as the highest priority. Each Homeroom Parent will be assigned to only one homeroom.

Responsibilities
1. Coordinate the main Conley classroom parties with the classroom teacher (Halloween, Holiday, Valentine’s Day, Spring Break and End of Year)
2. Assist with special events
3. Coordinate the Directory Verification Process for your classroom

Please reply to the registration form sent via email and return by TBD. You will be notified on TBD if you have been chosen. A Homeroom Parent Social will be scheduled for TBD at Conley School. If you have any questions, please contact your Homeroom Parent Liaison, Jessica Gleason at infantconsultant@gmail.com.
